It's nice but a pain to do..
The "shadow box" for tools in becoming standard in the aviation industry.
To make sure there is no tools missing when aircraft signed off.

It's nice but a pain

I was going to show a picture of my drawer, but I thought you said "sock" drawer. I guess no one would be interested.

Yeah, the tearing down of the bike is the first real thing I've done with them. I used to work on all my bikes and my buddy's bikes, but I sold the sportbikes when the baby came, even my tools. She's two now so I got some time to do frivolous things, like organize socket drawers.

You can slam that drawer and they don't move. It's sexy smooth.

Sears, of course. I buy most of my tools (non mechanical parts) from Sears. Won't buy their torque wrenchs (harbor freight) and I can't afford snapon.

Nice job, but I prefer having the socket sets on rails so I can just grab the whole rail and work from it instead of making trips to the tool box.

I probably will never go that far, but I need to do something to organize my tools. I spend more &((^%%'ing time looking for a tool that I just had in my hands two minutes ago than I do on the whole job I am trying to do.

Maybe it's early signs of Alzheimers
