I think I have created a monster.

I had almost the same problem if you can even call it that. After six years of riding a sporty, I decided to put a windshield on it for some longer rides. I put the money aside for late June when I was going for the ride. Next thing I know she texts me and said she already got me the windshield but the only problem is that there already is a bike attached to it. Next thing I know SHE bought an 06 FLHTCUI in the cobalt blue that she liked. Long story short. She owns the bike, I just ride her around. Ain't love grand, even after 25 years. No kidding.

I would have to agree Run dont walk to the Dealer and get that limited.... I am very content with my 06 Ultra. Dont get me wrong if I could I would be flying to the Dealer to get the limited..... Two small kids and medical bills so I will be Happy that I even have my 2006 Ultra best of luck with your decision..

Well just reading the trade offer someone else got on an 09 Ultra for a Limited (his bike and $10k) in the 2010 Limited thread solidifies my decision tenfold. Just showed the wife that and she agrees. Only way I would ever do it would be my bike and $3k. Which is what it would cost for engine work, wheels and a few other of the UL's doo-dads on mine. But there isn't any way that would happen.

My wife was going to change her car at the end of last year but she changed her mind. Instead she suggested we change the bike. I wasnt sure but she said go for it. We changed from Road King to Ultra Classic and guess what. She even goes half on the repayments. Lucky or what?
