Big Radius guys--in here

Okay yes they are loud, but let me say that the Thunder Monster baffles are a must and I mean a must if you run these pipes. They are less than a hundred bucks shipped and take about 30 minutes to install, very easy. The TM baffles keep them loud but make the tone a lot deeper, which creates more sound carry. It is not a high pitch that will hurt your ears. They are very impressive and if you run this setup with the Big Radius and Thunder Monsters, you will be thanking me later and wondering what took you so long to do it. As far as the sound of the Big Radius, yes with stock baffles, they sound the same on my bike as they did on my buddies Street Bob. I know what you mean about lowering the bike to cover up the ugly rear axle. That is why I lowered the rear with he Progressive 430 11.5" shocks, which are 1.5" shorter. It did the trick. I get complements all the time and with those pipes and baffles I am constantly getting asked if I am running high compression heads and if it has been bored out and if I have upgraded my cams. I say nope, it's just the Big Radius with Thunder Monster baffles.

I am definitely going with the black Big Radius on my Pewter Denim Street Glide...(momentary cash flow problems)... I also have a black SE heavy breather sitting on a shelf waiting to go on. I saw cryan9's suggestion before about the Thunder Monster baffles on another thread... I am a little concerned with losing low end torque with short pipes and I was wondering if monster bafflles will increase the back pressure and help with that as well....
I also had the idea of hanging some additional brake lights under the bags where the exhaust tips would normally be.... From the back (when off) it would kinda look normal...

I have been kicking around the thought of these pipes since I got my RK, I have seen pics of the pipes, but there is something I haven't seen.....where the pipes aren't. Can someone please post a pic of the rear and left side of your bike with the big radius, preferably on a RK

not to cause problems but you know i ask almost the same question about a week ago and your reply was "this subject has been talked about do a search" then you started a whole section on about how people should use the search section of the forum. Wtf...do a search let of info and pics on these pipes.

I was thinking about Big Radius for a while and while I was talking to a tuner about them, an 09 RG and Ultra pulled up with them on. So I went and talked to them and they have basically the same comments about their performance as we are reading here. But as I was talking to the owners, I noticed pipes on both bikes had bent tips where the contacted the road in steep right turns. If you are one who like to scrap the floor boards in turns, you need to consider that.

I had a set on my cross bones and I must say I miss the hell out of them. With the baffles they were loud with a nice tone. I pulled the baffles out and geezus christ those sum bitches were loud and the suck back between gears was hellacious! I loved them but my riding buddies all hated them. Only because they wanted the loudest bike but I would always drown them out. LOL. I've seriously contemplated putting V&H big radius pipes on my Road Glide but I have a better plan that will be even nastier. bwhahahaahaaa! I say go for it if you like em.
