How many miles are you getting on your 09 touring bikes rear tire also on the front??? I'm pushing 10k I may get 15k.

 

I have just under 12k on the bike and the tires are pretty bad and both are cupping and the front is way worse. Not sure but I will have to replace sometime this fall.

 

have 8K on mine.. back is just fine.. but the front is trash. at 60mph i pull in the clutch and turn the bike off... sounds like a 4 wheel drive the tire is cupped so bad. trying to keep a cool head when talking to the dealer about replacement. but when they look at you like a puppy hearing a strange sound for the first time... it sure is hard not to choke the $%& out of them.

 

Almost 15k on the bike. Rear tire is good and should go another thousand or two. Front was replaced at 11k because of bad cupping.

 

did you pay for the front replacement or did HD do the right thing?

 

Replaced the front D407 with a D408 at 9500 because of cupping. The rear is at 12,600 and has 4/32 of tread left. I'm thinking 15K or more before needing a new rear.

 

9700 front has some cupping hoping to get another 2-3k out of them. Front tire started cupping around 4k miles but has not gotten any worse. Looks like I'm going to change them both about the same time.

 

Just did the 5000 mile service and the tires look new. Hope to get 15K on back and 12-13 on the front, we shall see.

going on a 2K trip in 2 weeks and need a new front tire...
i guess i will see what i can charm out of them....

i'll let the wife do the talkin....maybe the 36DD will work ..lol
