Default K&N air filter

'06 FLHTCI here. Anybody replace their stock filter with a K&N? If so, were the results worth the price (about $80)?

If all you are changing out is the air filter and you are looking for some performance improvement, save your money. Now, air filter swap, open up the exhaust and add some fuel management, wakes 'em right up.

I have used K&N filters for years on all my cars/trucks . I have always noticed a improvement over whatever was stock. I will be changing over my 2001 RK ASAP

I agree with LoneWolf.. I noticed a difference with my '03 F-150.. I have one in my '03 Jag.. I also have one in my '94 Ultra.. I'm liking that + the jetted carb and the open pipes.. That's the way to wake these bikes up...

The performance gain is not the first reason i use K&N in everything i own. Paper filters get clogged fast and need to be changed often. I like to just clean, oil, and go. They stand behind their lifetime warranty. Had the chrome filter on my truck rust on me after 2 yrs of use and they sent me a new one. Buy one and get a cleaning kit and you are good to go for years. Yes they are worth every penny. You won't be ready for the drag strip by just adding a air filter but there is a noticeable improvement.
