Default lowering front end of 09 streetglide

Anyone lower their front end with the HD kit on their 09 Streetglide. Was it worth it, did the bike feel lower??? How about the ride, did it signifcantly change the handling?

Default lowering

I installed a race-tech kit w/ progressive springs and lowered it an inch. I put 11 1/2" Progressive 430 shocks on the back, which lowered it an inch in the back too. I hated it, so I bought 12" Ohlins shocks and am going to raise the forks back up and install a cartridge kit in the forks from traxxion dynamics. I strongly recommend NOT lowering the front, you can't feel the difference much, besides it not diving when coming to a stop.

Oh another thing to consider if you lower it , some people have actually bottomed out the front on big bumps and potholes and dented the fender ... which would suck.
