If they have then I think you are being unreasonable. If they haven't given you a loaner bike then by all means go for it.
I think somewhere in his last 5 or so threads about this, he did say he was getting a loaner. I know my dealership wouldn't or don't give out loaners.

He's got a better chance of that happening, than him getting a new bike. LOL

I'm not sure about Marisa, he might try Willie G. There has always been a different look about him to me.

You have a loaner, yes? If so then you are not out riding a bike altogether so you shouldn't ask for deferred payments. You also shouldn't be asking for a new bike as they should be returning yours to the prior condition. I wouldn't have written that letter until or if you had problems with getting things accomplished.

Everything should be documented for your own safety and legally down the road

Put 10,000 miles on their loaner bike and you will be ahead. You will have saved wear and tear on your bike. It sucks that it happened but if they did that for every warranty claim they would be worse off than they are right now.

They are good bikes or we would not own them. They are machines that break and put together by people and machines neither of which are perfect. If your dealer is doing the best they can and you have a loaner I would be happy enough with that.

So, you faxed a letter on 7/27 and expect a letter back with various reassurances on 7/28, and your bike back on 7/29. Ridiculous time frame for serious consideration IMO.

Weren't you originally concerned that they were not allowing enough time to put the bike together right. And now you're complaining they are taking too much time?
