Harley uses a rubbery,gooie,snot like adhesive for the trim.Heat from the sun will make the trim come loose.
I had the dealer repair it 3 times under warranty only to find the the trim does not stay put.
Loctite Super Glue took care of it.

this is on the inside of the fairing? i thought it was the rubber strip that was on the outer fairing. is this trim under the inner fairing so i can't see it until i take the outer faring off?

anyways, i looked again and both sides are leaking. looks like the surgeon who did the boob job on my road glide messed up. told him i wanted saline not silicone.

RTV wont work, use crazy glue and tuck the strip back on.
