Default Help my 09 inner fairing is fading

Has anyone noticed fading on the inner fairing of your 09 touring bikes mine is 8 mo. old I keep the SG garaged and very **** about NO harsh chemicals on the bike w/ 36 years of riding motorcycles I am aware of what and what not to use for cleaning here's the kicker I have just had the bike serviced 2 days ago at the local dealer Montg,AL. H-D I was told by the service guy they use S100 on the bikes as part of after service cleaning and this I believe is what faded the areas they obviously denied any wrong doing so the service guy took pictures to be sent to H-D for them to decide this is BS!

Yikes, that is unusual, I have a 00EGC and don't use any thing besides a moist soft rag to clean my inner and it still looks brand new, and I have some S100 on the shelf but never used it, let us know what comes out of this. Good luck.

Noticed mine fading also. Never used anything but a damp cloth to clean it. I looked at a guys 08 inner fairing Friday and his looked great. He said he wipes his with armor all occasionally. I am going to try it.

I only use soap & water and my 02 still looks new. I have noticed some much newer bikes parked at the dealership that were really badly faded . Something is happining out there to fade some of the inner fairings more than others though.

My 07 faded also, H-D did nothing to help. Local painter took care of it. Now I have to do it again on the 09.
