Hey everybody H-D is going to step up and replace my inner fairing at NO charge I'm extatic but there's a twist I'm going to pay the differance and get the painted version - 4 hrs. labor which is FREE!!!!!! This freekin great!!
Thanks for all the great info.
Yikes, that is unusual, I have a 00EGC and don't use any thing besides a moist soft rag to clean my inner and it still looks brand new, and I have some S100 on the shelf but never used it, let us know what comes out of this. Good luck.
Same here, usually only a moistened rag, but occasionally Windex. I also applied Armor-All on several occasions, but although it makes it look good will streak unless you apply it evenly, and that takes time. Never used S100 there and won't after reading your testimonial. Anyway, I quit using it recently in favor of Simple Green, but only in areas where grime can't be removed with just a car-wash solution.
Aerospace 303. Its made to protect all plastics and rubber exposed to the sun. Makes the plastic look new without giving it that greasy look and feel. Does a really good job on the seat as well.

4 hours to change out an inner fairing? I'm not a mechanic but did mine total in 2-1/2 hours. 1-1/2 hrs. to tear down with marking and bagging all the parts. Sent it out to be painted and then 1 hour to assemble. Only cost $225 for red hot sunglo.
