A friend of mine loaned me his for my trip to Sturgis, with gel and sheepskin cover. I couldn't ride for a 100 miles and my azz was killing me! I tried it for two days with the same result. I finally packed it away and went with my stock Ultra seat, and have been good to go ever since. Glad I found out before I bought one.
Jeez, airhawk, gel pad and sheepskin!! I'm surprised you weren't hitting your head on low overpasses with all that chit underneath you. I guess this goes under the philosophy that if some is good, more must be better.
I like mine.
I read a tip on inflating to just open the valve and let it sit for a minute, then close the valve. Thats all the air it needs, that may even be too much.
Like others have said, if its properly inflated it looks flat. 'butt" it works
