Default Oil pressure light 03 classic

Lately when I first start up my 03 EG CLassic the oil pressure light stays on for about 10-14seconds and goes off. The light only comes on when the bike has been parked overnight and started for the first time of the day. (After its warm it will not reappear) I checked the oil level and its perfect. The bike has about 12,000 miles on it. I thought maybe its a sign that the oil pump is going or the sending unit. This is a new symptom that started about 300 miles ago. Otherwise the only time this light would act this way is the first start up after an oil change which is normal until the oil circulates. Any thoughts?

If the bike is not choked the light will come on but if the bike is choked its revving higher it comes on for a second. The gauge shows 0 for a few seconds at start up

It could be a problem.....because a harley motor only requires 2-3 lbs of oil pressure to turn the light off. First thing i would do is connect a mechanical gauge where the sender is and watch it. If it goes up like normal then you probably have a sender going bad........if it does not go up like it should then you may have a pump/cam plate problem. Besides Harley motors are more about flow than pressure that is why the gauge goes off with only 2-3 lbs.
