Yep, my old 2005 Vulcan 2000 was 125ci's of pure meanness. It was also a good looking engine at that, complete with the dual external push rods that are so Harley'esque in appearance, unlike Yammie's single tube version. There's no reason why Harley can't produce a much larger displacement engine with liquid cooling.

I'd love to have that much motor/power on my Roadie.

That said, I won't buy the first year liquid cooled Harley. Learned my lesson with the '07 SG. Same reason I don't run out and install the latest/greatest OS on my PC's. I'll wait a year and let the bugs get worked out in the public "beta testing".

Bashing? Nah. Gently goading them into the new millennium, possibly.

It's inevitable. It's not a matter of "if" anymore. Might as well accept it and reap the rewards of newer technology.

I remember people bashing EFI, and even further back...some who pondered "4 gears is all anyone will ever need".

I have about zero interest in a water cooled Harley.

There will not be a water cooled bike until HD has the 103 as a oem engine. After that you can start the death march.

Several years to late for the water cooled prediction, unless you are specifically predicting it for 2011, then your only 2 or 3 years late.

BTW Harley has been making water cooled bikes for a while now.
