Did not see anything great enough to trade in my 07 Ultra for. Don't much care for alot of the new colors. We waited for this?? I think Harley missed the boat this year.

 

....BOY!...if they thought sales were slow THIS year...wait till the numbers for 2010 come out...man....I can't imagine why ANYONE with an 09 would want to trade...and as for me?...bought new in 05 and STILL haven't seen anything that makes me drool yet...wake me up when they make a Tour bike with 120 HP, and a sub-woofer...then we'll talk....

 

So far, my main prediction holds: that I (and most others) wouldn't be impressed. I can't believe the number of people saying that they wouldn't trade their '09's for a 10. Sheesh...do you guys expect to trade up EVERY year?!

 

I have been waiting for monthes and now I can decide to take the 09 RKC with Big Purple Flake / Silver paint that arrives in Perth this week. Long story short, the bike was ordered last August and a delay with the colour during construction meant the finished bike just happens to be arriving the same week the 2010's are released.

My local dealer has been really supportive, to the point of offering to do a panel change so my colour could be on a '10 if the rumours about the 103ci engine in all the tourers turned out to be true. With the major difference at a glance being the rear guard, and I never look back there anyways, I am sure they will be happy the sale can move along and I will be happy I will be back on the road again in a week or two.

The only outstanding issue will be what rack to fit, coz that big HD rack is damn expensive down here and not as sweet as the sleek Motherwell rack I put on my '05 RKC.

Any suggestions for an aftermarket rack that will mount to the HD detachable system?
