skulmn and max56, thanks for the compliments, both of your bikes look great also, as far as keeping it clean you are right, chrome is way easier, if your real **** like me black will drive ya nuts it hides no imperfections. sheeeit I just seen a fingerprint and some dust gotta go...

I love blacked out bikes. Been thinking seriously about my next ride, and whether to go solid black.... I guess I better get the bike first. Isn't 2010 the year of the Night Glide? That's what I'm hearing.

Glider... that is a SHARP lookin' ride! Great balance of chrome and black, and it really makes that paint scheme stand out.

Is it true when they say, "Once you go black, ya never look back?"

I would definitely agree the new "in" thing is blacked out bikes. They look turbo sharp!
I saw that Road King that made the magazine thread here on the forums and had to calculate how much I could get if I sold my kids to the gypsies to get a bike like that. It looked great!

I have a black bike (like everyone else with a little chrome) and a black car. My next one is going to have some color...as I'm not a "neat freak" and they show everything.

I think the all black trend will look kinda "out dated" in a few years.----- But have been wrong a couple of times.
