Default The 2010s dont come out as scheduled

This thread is for comments about the MOCO not releasing the 2010 models on time this year. It seems the majority expect the 2010 models to be unveiled tomorrow, July 25th. If the unveiling doesnt take place and there is no concrete explanation, why do you think the MOCO will have decided to release at a later date?

harley davidson operates on their schedule, not ours. that's a given. the national dealers meeting was in denver on the 23rd, yesterday in denver colorado. that's when the dealers all get to see the new models. as to when we'll get to see them, is up to harley. in the tulsa area, both of the harley showrooms are full of 09's. many of them shipped down from ohio, indiana, michigan, etc, where the auto workers and factory workers are out of work and can't afford to spend twenty grand on a toy. i don't think that when harley was building the 09's that the economy was going to tank the way it did. i'm as interested in the new models as anyone, well other than the guy who continuously wants to know what the flhtk is going to be. but soon enough we'll all know what's going to be available in 2010. my 08 sg has been paid for since the day i rode it home new, so i might just wanna stick with what i got. still i'm curious though.

Even though sales are way down, they still have to release 2010 model information or consumer confidence will fall.

Maybe they are announcing that the MSRP on the 2010s will be 3-5k less for each model. And they want to keep it a secret so people buy the 2009s at the current price....

I will keep my hopes up for that. Maybe then I can get rid of my Yamaha and finally get an Ultra Classic.

You guys have nothing better to yap about?? Jeeze...........FYI The dealer meeting is saturday and sunday!!!! The 25th & 26th!!! Has been scheduled since they released the dates. Not the 23rd, 24th or blah blah................

I will be on a plane here shortly on my way to Denver and will be there!! Bikes will start arriving on Monday!!! Yes thats Monday...... My dealer will have 14 bikes delivered next week!! I will say there will not be as many to go around this year........so if you see something you like you better grab it because some models are going to be tough to get!!!

Yes it will be interesting to see how HD handles their old inventory. My dealer still has an 08 105th RG and an 06 VROD still on the floor. Neither are marked down one cent, no incentive tags or notice of free extras with the bike.

I'm looking forward to the release of the 2010. I know they'll be at Sturgis for the unveiling at the Convention Center, and I plan on seeing them there.

They're not quite done designing the radiator for the water cooled motor.
