I sent my wheels out and had them chromed and I couldn't be happier. Great work, fast, and reasonably priced. And I don't mind saying it was ChromeProsPlating.com. NO CHROME in my bearing holes, they pressed right in like a glove. Wouldn't hesitate doing it again, or recommending them to my closest friend. I'd be on the phone with whoever did it and tell them you want another wheel.

I had the rear wheel for one of my Sportsters done by Chrome Pros out of Texas, they did a good job and I have used it for at least 5 years with no chrome problems.

That sucks. Tell us what fool chromed the inside of the hub so we can avoid them. And sorry, but shame on the dealer for trying to wedge a bearing into a chromed stock wheel hub. I have only done about 8 bearing changes, but even I would have known there's no tolerance for plating between the hub and the bearing.

I got my stock wheels chromed at a place in Fort Worth. They do thousands of harley wheels a year.
No Issues. Did it right.
Wouldnt look back.

+1 for Chrome pros in TX.

Chrome is awesome and shipped the day I ordered them. I had them throw the bearings in before they shipped.

when I was shopping for a 9-spoke chrome rear wheel for my '02 RKC, getting an OEM unit from a dealer in OHIO turned out to be a wiser choice for me (wanted to replace the factory laced rim)
