Question 09 SG Rear Facia Part#

I'm going to add the SG rear facia to my RG and was wondering if anyone had the part# and cost. It looks like the light and facia are all one now??

That should be everything I need right? I'm going to use the 3M tape method.

You ought to take a look at the '09 HD Touring Models parts book. The pages dealing with the rear fender will show you what a Street Glide uses. When the book is open to the rear fender pages, it will have pictures/line drawings of the parts on the left page identified by number and, on the right side facing page, the part nos. corresponding to the numbers used in the pictures. Perhaps you can PM Dawg and he can send you the pages.

The parts not listed in this thread include the two screws to attach the LED to the fascia; and, the black rubber grommet that goes in the left side hole in the fascia for the antenna and rubber plug that goes in the right side hole in the fascia.

Also, I don't know if the antenna mount on your RG is the same as the SG or is compatible with the SG fascia. The parts book would tell you if it is and, if not, identify the part(s) you'll need for the antenna.

Good luck with your project. It's the best bang for the $$$ cosmetic mod available IMO.

Thanks. I thought there might be screws for the light. My dealer has the rubber grommets. I have an antenna in the fairing so no worries there.

Might want to check out Ebay also. I"ve seen a few of them there for sale as well.
