I have the Zumo and it works great. I plug it into the aux jack of the radio and I can listen to the turn instructions loud and clear. I know some folks who like to plan routes with them and I always tell them to set it for "avoid unpaved roads" other wise you will sometimes wind up on gravel or worse. I use mine mostly for when I wind up someplace that I am not sure how to get home. I just press the home setting and I am on my way. Good unit I highly recommend it.
