Default handy lift surface

thinking about pulling the trigger on a table lift for the garage. I like the Handy lift, made in usa, parts available, etc..... my only concern is the lift will have to be my parking place most of the time and the surface is not diamond plated, will the smooth surface be slick? If tires are wet?

Yes.
I bought the Pro-Cycle from Derek Waever:
http://www.derekweaver.com/update/Pr...duct.aspx?id=1
Works.
I should have gotten the drop out tail unit however.
And I did get the extended sides also. For safety purposes. Seemed a bit narrow riding up on a bagger.

If it is, but everything else fits what you want, just cover it with some non skid product. A quick Google shows strips/tape/paint/etc.

I found mine *very* slick. There's inevitably a film of oil on it from oil changes, even though you wipe up. Wet tires don't have much traction on the smooth painted surface. The second day I had it I covered mine with a non slip flooring made with a raised aggregate design.

I do not recommend riding a bike up on a lift.
