I ordered my Clearview 8" recurve 6 weeks ago. I knew up front from their confirmation email that it would take "4-5 weeks". I had hoped this estimated time of delivery was like a lot of companies, they say it takes longer to give themselves a cushion and also the customer is pleasantly surprised when it arrives "early".

I have sent Clearview 4 emails in the last 3 weeks asking for a status update with no reply to any of them.

The most irritating part is that they charged my credit card and got my money a week ago! Still as of today (7-20-09), no shipping notification!

I'm almost ready to cancel my order and go with someone like LongRide. They appear to be of comparable quailty, they're less expensive, and they claim to ship within 24 hrs. Unfortunately, I didn't know about LongRide until recently.

Since they refuse to communicate, I'm just afraid Clearview might stiff me for the $113 total cost. I've never dealt with them before so I don't know their business reputation or integrity. I know their shields get good reviews.

Just irritating as hell!! Makes me appreciate people like Chuck at C&C Seats and Jamie at FuelMoto all the more. Very accomodating and extremely helpful folks, right there.

Clearshield? Not so much in my experience. If and when I do get the windshield, I hope it's worth it.....and I hope this is helpful to future windshield customers

 

That's totally different than what I have experienced with Clearview. They never charged my card before shipment and they always returned emails promptly - same day usually.

 

Shrug, no problems with my order through clearview but then again I didn't order in the middle of rideing season. Hope it works out cause the quality of their shields is outstanding.

 

They make an outstanding product but the wait times during riding season are crazy. I'm not sure what production issues they have. If they shipped faster, they would make a lot more money.

 

I have no way of knowing what the problem is, but not responding to you is the part that would bother me the most. Unexpected delays come up with manufacturing, but they should keep you informed and not charge your credit card until it ships.

Call them at the 800 number on their site. Leave a message they will get back to you. Great product at a good price. Long waiting lines.

 

This is good news. I don't fear them skipping with my money so much anymore. I guess they're snowed to the point they can't do anything but keep their noses to the grindstone. I do hope they ship soon, though, since they charged my card on 7-14-09.

 

Mine shipped about 10 days after they charged my cc. Also took about 7 weeks from order to delivery, mid-season. You should get yours soon. Send John an email or call him.

 

I got my Long Ride Shield in less than a week.
