Default Removing old grips ?

Getting ready to do my bar swap and I'd like to be able to salvage the Iso Grips I have on there now. Whats the best way to get that left grip off without tearing it up?

I just grab ahold of it super tight and twist it. That will break the bond with the glue and it will pull right off.

what did you use to put it on originally?

I'd try twisting hard first..

Acetone (finger nail polish remover) will loosen super glue...but be careful around your paint!!

Tilt the bar so it's grip down and squeeze Goo-Gone into the crevices. Goo-gone will eat through the glue without harming the grip. Once it's soaked twist the grip and it should pop right off. Goo-gone won't harm your paint like some other glue removers.

Good luck

Try electronic contact cleaner spray. See if you can get some under the grip and move it a bit.

I use a hacksaw blade and work it between the grip and handle bar.
