With the 2 or 3" speakers they are good around town but once you get past 45 they are pretty much useless depending on the exhaust you have and if you have a windshield or not. The rumble road ones sound better but are way too big and ugly in my opinion. If she has a roadking then check out the speaker/lid setup from rockntops I am putting these on hopefully this week and will post my results.

I've been looking at the Rumble speakers, $329 with a 150 watt amp and 4" speakers and someone has this set up with a 300 watt amp but it's $529. I did a google search and there are some very good reviews on the one with the 150 watt amp and no reviews on the 300 watter. Come"s ready for an Ipod or mp3.
Hope it helps.

I had the newer Cycle Sounds system on my Dyna. I worked pretty well and was very easy to install. Works with mp3 players. I was able to hear no matter what speed. I also had a windshield and was running vance and hines big shots staggered. It is pricey.

Hi Lockshop,
What do they sound like ? - can you hear them on the road ?

I,ve just finished installing my MS batwing fairing and have added some tunes.
Not too bad for $100 but not keen on the speakers so might put them in my panniers (leather RK custom though).
