Every week there is a new thread on here about some community that is initiating noise ordinances because their residents are fed up loud pipes and every week there is someone new on here asking what the loudest pipes are that he can put on his bike. I guess we'll never learn to curb ourselves, so we can expect the government to do it for us.

In my mind be heard and be seen! the louder the better in my book. There are way to many a-holes on the road that can't see bikes, so let them at least hear us!

dawg, that is just really funny about the jeeps' exhaust, truly ghetto boom can. i can see me using two on my streetglide, hey i'd even be able to remove the jiffy stand as it'd stay upright without needing a side stand. kgb44, i think that's a sort of new sushi, or perhaps chinese food delicacy, the chit-emo. either that or it's a tickle me elmo toy that someone gave some laxitive to? great thread by the way. entertaining.

Then your mind is not working properly. Attitudes such as yours are why so many places are passing rediculously restrictive noise ordinances. You don't think they will affect you? Sorry, they will affect all of us.

Ride defensively, stay out of blind spots and know that riding a motorcycle is an inherently dangerous passtime. Loud pipes won't make it less so.
