Rinehart 2 into 1, any good?
Have been conversing with a guy on this forum and was thinking about getting rid of my Rinehart true duals on my 05 FLHT, and installing a Rinehart 2 into 1 instead. His price seems very fair. I notice though that as I read more on 2 into 1 systems on this forum, very very few of you guys talk about the Rinehart. It seems to be Fat Cats or Thunderheaders or V&H etc. etc. Why? In the world of true duals Rinehart are undoubtedly one of the, if not the most popular pipe, but it does not seem to be the case in the 2 into 1 world. Was just wondering, I love my True duals, but am curious about getting the most possible HP and Torque out of my engine without any headwork. Have an SE 203 cam, Big sucker and the carb, yes carb ,is jetted wonderfully. Really not a bad engine as it is at all, just curious as to what the 2 into 1 will do for me. I can always turn around and sell it and only lose a little. Any feedback would be appreciated.

I had a Rinehart 2 into 1 on my 05 FLHRS. (see pics in my album) Traded my true duals for em...Best pipe I ever had, getting ready to put one on my 09. I had SE 95" and SE204 cams and changing the Rineharts from duals to 2/1 bolted on a dyno certified 6hp and 9 tq. Also didn't loose the sound of the Rinehart either, which I love. Can't go wrong with them IMO

I put rinehart 2-1 pipes on about a year ago. I really like that big fat pipe on one side of the bike. Be warned that the pipe is really loud. The pipe was so loud that I recently changed to the "quiet" baffle and now it is perfect for me. No dyno, but I could swear that the quiet baffle really increased low end torque. I am a happy camper with this set up.
