I have that noise on my 09. When I was at the Drags in Norwalk Ohio, HD had a display there. I talked to one of the factory reps and he told me that it is the dog legs on the output shaft knocking together. He took my number and said that when he got back to milwaukee, he would ask the transmission experts. He called me two days later and said the experts confirmed this. Mine only happens in neutral while idling. I can only hear it when I'm off of the bike. I don't know if its the same noise as yours though.
