Upgraded speakers about a year ago looking for amp i can use with the 2ohm j&m speakers i already have that does'nt cost$$ that much. not looking for monster system just a little upgrade with a simple amp thanks for any help.rome

 

rome the Arc Audio KS125.2 will handle 2 ohm load and is a proven amp for motorcycle use. FireCap501 is a Arc dealer and very knowledgeable and good people. If your trying to save money I found my Arc on ebay last yr slightly used for a good price. They come up seldom but every now and then you'll see one on ebay. There is also a Arc knockoff amp called the Elf Audio E2125W that a guy on ebay sells considerably cheaper than new Arc's but I don't have first hand knowledge of how they hold up on a bike.

I bought a super cheap Pyle 2 channel amp and all that you have to do aside from wiring the amp is get a low frequency converter (I think that is what they are called) and bam. It starts to get a bit distorted at really high volumes but not bad. It is also a marine grade amp which is good.
