Hi - there doesn't seem to be anything out there that perfectly fits the 2009 RK Classic to lay-down the plate...and the new HD catalogue isn't out yet. The older models have a bar to attach the plate but this year it's the 3 hole fender set-up...has anyone had any success?
I had also been looking at lay-down plate solution for an RKC, but I elected to relocate my license plate instead. It is now mounted underneath the turn signal bar, using the Softbrake relocation kit. Overall, I'm pretty happy with the result. My only issue was due to our Canadian license plates being larger than "standard" size (8"x5" instead of the usual 7"x4"). Although that was nothing a pair of tin-snips couldn't resolve! :-)
Thanks for the tip...Great bars too... are they the HD high bars for the 2009 RKC... (which I'm told do not require any wiring/cabling to be lengthened) ?

I'd be interested in hearing more about these bars also!!
