Replaced my stock 09 speakers with just hogtune speakers and I do not think they are that good of an upgrade. To get GOOD sound I believe you need an amp. I wouldnt' waste my money on them again. Get some 61/2 speakers with the adapters and then amp them, then get some of those tweeters, bet that would solve the problem.............think I might do that.

 

After reading different threads about this and talking to different vendors it sounds like the weak link in the HD HK system is the radio itself. I was going to try to just replace my stock speakers in my 09 SG to get a little more volume with less distortion but everyone said save your money until you can buy the amp with speakers and that will make a huge difference. I think I will go with the Firecap 6 1/2" speakers with the amp when I can get cash.
