awesome guys thanks for info, i will post pics as soon as i get a chance to clean her, the bike is covered in an inch of dust from just sitting in the garage. it has never seen water and when i say that, im not just talking bout rain i mean water at all, it has never been washed.i related it to finding a old classic car in a barn some where, it was dirty and covered in dirt but you could see that under all that was a real beauty. i am picking the bike up on friday, one question i noticed when the ignition was turned on the turn signals blinked on and off a few times my 07 dyna didnt do the what is the purpose of it??

I have a 2002 Road King Classic, and my turn signals do NOT blink when I turn on the ignition. My guess, is that perhaps your bike's previous owner may have had a security system installed.

Blinking signals sounds like the HD security me thinks. Did you get a keyfob with the bike? if so, there you go.

it sounds as though you got a great deal. what really matters more than anything though is that you're happy with the bike you got, and it sounds like you're very happy indeed.. good for you.

Hi, it sounds a great deal. To compare I have just purchased a 2001 Road King with 2500 miles for £7600 with a full years road tax and spare chrome Harley lid and gloves. This in dollars is around $12,300, sounds a lot of bucks but I haven't come across another yet!
