He used to send you an alternate website where a lot of info is, but it took an email to him to get it. I don't know if he does it anymore though.

Too bad, he had a lot of stuff on there that helped me out a lot over the years.

I have found it all depends on having a service manager that is willing to go through the trouble. With some, if you don't do some investigating on your own, they will NOT tell you until something goes wrong or breaks. Others look out for you based on your relationship with them. I guess the MOCO wants to keep certain costs down when is comes to servicve bulletins, because they lose money repairing and replacing items. Like someone said before, the MOCO is in survival mode, so cost cutting is an across the board activity. Looks like the forum is the best place to check in my honest opinion.

I had the fuel tank mount issue fixed last year. I actually got a call from the dealership, but nothing since then.
I wonder what else is out there?

To check for Safety Recalls use the governmental website:
http://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/cars/pr...callsearch.cfm

for my '10 FLHX it does list a fuel tank recall (weld on seam that leaks due to impact). States that a right & left side brace will be installed to strengthen the area....will check to see if mine has been done...

Unfortunately the "recalls finder" site listed above currently only lists up to 2009 model years and I suspect it does not have a full listing across the HD board as it didn't even list the 2009/2010 fuel tank recall for any touring model.

I posted a link to the "official" database that gives a listing with real copies of all vehicle (including H/D) recalls, bullitins, and consumer complaints in this thread.
