Default ? on drilling new vent holes in SE backing plate

Getting tired of the small amount of oil accumulating around the bottom of the air filter and am contemplating doing something about the venting as have others.
It seems to me I read somewhere here about where to drill into the SE air cleaner backing plate to install fittings to run vent hoses but can't find it. Maybe I'm dreaming. Looks to me that I just need to make sure they clear the throttle mechanism box doohickie. Any thoughts, I'll be installing 1/8 NPT x 1/4 barb end fittings and figuring out the routing from there.

Thanks

In the bottom of the stand offs. Also remember to plug the holes that go down to the inside of the filter.

I'm not familiar with these Tampon things. One every six months? Don't they have a shelf life ..............kidding.

I actually got away from the football in my sig pic and now have the element exposed. I may have a slight overfill problem that I'm gonna double check but if not, I'd like to do as Dawg has and divert the oil mist, seep, or whatever it's called elsewhere.

What holds the Tampon in place. On the bike. I know how it's held in otherwise.
