Howdy,

My Son changed over to braided brake/clutch cables on his 2008 Road King Classic. Now no power to anything except speedometer & I can check odometer. No power to anything else. He changed the cables, (gas tank removed/replaced & exhaust ditto). He said to make clear that he has not touched the grounds and the fuses are good.

Anyone that can help, please do! His computer is down and he is asking for help from Fort Jackson, SC. I will relay any info to him (he's IamOpie2 here).

Double check to make sure all the connectors are connected and something didn't get left unhooked or accidentally came apart.

 

Certainly sounds like he forgot to connect something. Will it start?

 

Sounds like he did not plug the ignition switch back in when he installed the dash.

I'd check for loose ground wires...
