thanks for the input guys. i went to advance auto parts and got a pair of hella 9003 style h4 bubls. now i got a spare sitting on the shelf for when the first one goes out. i found that the hella, like the osram are top quality. odd, but it's got the slight blue tint, for the higher frequency light. sure are better than the stock bulbs. actually this bulb, looks identical to the 29.95 hi performance headlight bulb as the one harley sells. thanks again for the replies.

Default how about the wagner BP1210/H4 bulb?

I have had good luck with Sylvania Silverstar. Much whiter light without increased heat in the socket. Make sure you stick with a 55/60watt lamp.

Don't try to run high wattage bulbs without adding relays. You'll fry the switches eventually. Ask me how I know.

I see the PIAA's have anti vibration H4 bulbs. Is that what should be ran? I would think that may extend the life of the bulb.

For me yes, I went through two of them before going back to the OEM blub.
