I mounted mine with velcro on the batwing, but same general idea.

I can't keep the iPhone earbuds in my ears walking.
However, I also have a Scala Rider Q2 headset and you can use those as an FM tuner and they have a MP3 cable to them. You can mount your speakers to the straps if your half helmet does not have the ear pads. There is a slight defect in the sound, it is mono and I don't really know how to use it when listening to the MP3 and talking to my buddy. I can't seem to switch between the two without pushing a gazillion buttons - I suppose if I read the manual that would help but..there is an option for you.
