Default true duals vs. 2 into 1

I was runnin a O7 flhr with SE air cleaner, dealer flash stage one, xieds stock exhaust headers and modified ultra mufflers...(mufflers opened up )...the bike ran exellent, good low end torque and fairly quiet..Then, because I cant leave well enough alone I got a hold of the fulsac true dual kit and put it on the bike and as everyone says I lost low end torque and it is much louder..So now Im wondering if I was to swap the fulsac for a 2 into 1 exhaust if I would get back the lo end torque like I had with the stock headers with just the xieds and SE air....

Default 2;1

any 2:1 set up will by far out perform any true dual, in all ranges. i have bub 7, 2:1 on 07 street glide and they are there to stay.

Well before you go and guess at what you have or do not have . Tuning a bike is very important. A stock bike with true duals is not bad adding the 2-1 will improve upon what you have. A tune is the only way to ensure you have correct afr ratio and are getting the gains you should have with an exhaust swap. Install a TTS tuner on that bike and dyno it. We have tuned countless new 09's now with the basic set up and there are great gains to be had. Good luck with the new set up. Let us know what it makes once tuned.

Maybe you should be asking about a better tuner instead of another exhaust system.
A good 2-1 system does make a differance as I found out when I took the RineHart TD's off my bike and put a FatCat on, but if you are useing a download instead of a tuner I don't think you are going to get what you are looking for.

I have a Rinehart 2 - 1 that was on the bike for 2 weeks. I had a gain in low end torque and the bike pulled hard. Wife hated the 2 - 1 so I took it off and went back with true duals. If you are interested I have the 2 - 1 for sale.
