I guess it all comes down to what one personally wants to do. I for one feel that it enhances ones opportunity to see me. I don't let that make me over confident, I'm always riding defensive all serious riders will. To each his own with my respect.

I bought the Comagination combo set after my neighbor got killed by an old couple doing a u-turn. In the daytime sometimes it flashes, sometimes it doesn't. It doesn't matter where the sensor is or how bright it is outside. It does however have a 1-2 second delay at night that could get you KILLED if you turn on your high-beam and have your spots off. Next time I'll get a Kisan.

I've had a Kriss on my bike for 11k miles without any issues. Plug and Play install, flawless operation.

You don't know the fun you're missing out on by not wearing a clown suit.

Between my exhaust and my air horn, which I'm not afraid to "tap" if I think someone doesn't see me, I don't think I need a modulator, I find them kind of annoying to ride in front of. But what ever works for ya, go for it! I agree with the guy above, the best saftey device is between your ears!

I noticed that when I'm in the cage, that a bike with a modulator kind of attracts me to it. It's the visual fixation. The air horn works for me.

Hummmm, I never considered how others looked at me while I was riding, a dork or not, I always rode for my own pleasure. Guess I should re-evaluate, "the others looks," when considering safety and bling upgrades. Not discounting ones own defensive driving skills just taking into consideration others lack there of. Hear is a penny for your thoughts.

That's true. Some people like modulators and others don't, but the end result and what's important is being seen.
