race turner/power commander/ or ??
Took delivery of new 09 ultra. Working on getting my break in miles down. Wondering what is best for the money. Do alot of 2 up riding in the smokey mountains of NC and VA. Looking for good reliabilty and throttle response (torque) not looking to race are bragg on Dyno numbers. Which one is the best for the money, or just stick with the stage 1 air kit. race turner are power commander.

I'm going to tell you what I'm sure alot of others will. Give Jamie a call at http://www.fuelmotousa.com You can't go wrong with his package, a/c, slip-on's and his mapped PC-V. I myself feel it's one of the strongest stage 1 upgrade's you can do. Plus, the PC-V is capable of any future upgrades and he will always provide you with a new map. Rich

My response will be unpopular...because I'm not a proponent of what seems 90% of the posters here advocate. I wouldn't spend $1000. + for 5-8 hp. And you will with new pipes, air cleaner, and ECU remap. It's a way to make money for OEM and after market folks . Unless you plan on cam changes and a larger bore, I wouldn't do it. Stay stock and worry free.
If you do progress to a 103 or 107 kit and cams, then get your exhaust, AC, and ECU remap. Harley is so behind, or more likely proprietary, on remapping it seems like the bronze age. I'm talking comparative to automobiles, where you don't have so many hassles.
Also, I like ECU reprogramming better than add ons that fool your ECU.
