I recently purchased an 09 EG Classic. It has the Throttle By Wire (no cables). This throttle has a very different feeling compared to my old 06 with cables. Seems very sensitive and at times at full operating temperature it takes more throttle to pull away from a stop light, almost like being in 2nd gear. Looking to know what others think about this new feature?

My throttle response is as good or better than any cable throttled bike I have ever owned. I read on here that some say it has a delayed reaction and others says it is too sensitive and minor bumps in the road cause enough movement in their hands to rev the motor.
I have a couple hundred thousand miles on cable bikes, but only one prior bike being a harley (2004 heritage). I have ridden this one 16,000 miles and so far so good. No issues at all for me.
