True Duals w/ Stock Mufflers
Anyone tried True Dual pipes with stock mufflers? I'm happy with just about everything about the 2006 EGC except the heat on my passenger's foot because of that crossover pipe. I like the way the Reinharts look but don't want to change much or re-jet or wake my neighbor when I head off to work in the morning.

Riding buddy just changed his '06 Ultra to Kuryakyn Tru Dual headers. Re-used his original SE slipons. Bike has SE breather and Dealer Stage 1 download.
His first comment was how the heat on his right leg was gone, and he really liked how the rear tru-dual header opened up the area above the tranny for cleaning, etc.
He's very pleased and the bike appears to run fine. Of course, I'm sure a good Dyno Tune would improve performance but he's not experiencing any drivability problems at the moment.

On my '04, I used the Fulsac true dual kit and kept my stock pipes.
I decided to get the B&E performance superflow 1.75" slip on pipes.
The G/friend said the sound was annoying, so I put on the stock
pipes again.
With the B&E pipes, I could feel more torque....but got to try and
keep ol what's her name happy. My bike runs fine with stock mufflers,
as far as I can tell (ridden like that for 11K miles).
The true dual helped with the fried thighs a little. I also installed the
Harley seat shields and the helped as well.
I just installed Harley Goodie floorboard extenders tonight and haven't
ridden with them yet. Back ones went on simple. The front ones,
you need to lift your bike up by a lift or something. The front floor
boards would not fit back into the bottom "lowering hole" unless I took
off my lower fairings. The original bolts holding on the front floor boards
were, well....I'll say TIGHT! (I could have used three hands on the
front-left hand side).
