I am part of a Sci Fi group. We raise money for charity and just go to other things as a group. Conventions are great.

It is year round. You should see the looks from the mundanes when I ride by in full Klingon Uniform. Yes, I wear a Half Helmet.

by the way, Trekkie is someone just into the Original Series. (TOS) Trekker is into the entire series and movies.

I work for The Borg. You will be assimilated. Resistance is futile.

I can't beleive I wasted all this time reading this thread! thinking of getting a new bike for a missed or broken weld was just plain stupid thinking. My frame is dirty, will I get a new bike too? LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Really, I think it was just a fluke.

I think anyone thinking about buying a new bagger should do so, and feel secure that you are getting a top quality bike.

PERSONALLY, I think the Harley's that have been built in the last 10 years are outstanding, for the most part. The cam follower problems have been cured, the primary chain tensioner is automatic, and any lean running issues are a result of the EPA, and can be easily remedied.

Unhappy Update 7 24 2009

Friday 7.24.2009: Picked up bike at 4:00 pm

Did a small walk through , Rode bike for 30 miles up Hwy 9 Big Basin Way

6:30 pm My Thighs were getting hot comming back through Saratoga

DANG - SJH forgot to install Heat Shileds BUT Wait... OIL on my Rear tire....

Oh Crap - looks like the rear brake seal is bad....

How did I miss the heat shields - Geeezzz

Well back to SJH 8:00 am Saturday - Drop bike off -

I'm starting to get angry... I am just glad I did not lose the rear end or take off over the hill on HWY 17 to Santa Cruz to see Eddie Money with GF...

Well off to Santa Curz in my "4 wheel cage"
