I am pretty sure there will be two in the group real soon then. The FLTRU is on it's way for the 2010 model year.

I think going from a RK to a RG might not be as dramatic as a EG to RG...The windshield feels a lot lighter that the batwing....I saw a big diff and will likely own a RG in the next 2 years.

Kind of funny but there are a lot of people out there who believe that the Tour Glide will be reintroduced in 2010. I can not look into the future with any degree of accuracy but that sure does make sense. Tour Glide=Road Glide with a V-rod engine and tour package would be pretty popular. We only have about two weeks to wait and see.

Ok, confession here, in the past I never cared for the RG either. Then back during the Demo days for the '09's, I rode the SERG and it felt like it was custom made for my build. Never mind the motor and whatnot, I liked the roomy feel, the lighter steering and so on. I had my heart set on an Ultra as my next ride. Didn't want to do Drill Team stuff with a new Ultra and about that same time I learned about new cop bikes being available. Liked what I got for the money, bought one. Then I went on the highway for hours weeks later and thought 'damn, this bike is constantly moving". Nothing bad, just a bit busy. Shortly after when I got rid of a ton of stuff, my girl and I went for her new ride and another for me. Considered the Ultra again. I kept thinking about how nice that RG rode months back and I didn't think I wanted another batwing in the garage. Not to mention that weird *** bar angle of the Ultra (batwing) handlebars. The RG bars were more like the angle of Heritage bars, better for skills work. So, while the Street Glide was the smart choice for my girl, I went with the Roadie as my second bike and I like it. On the road it's WAY better than the batwing bikes. The other guys here are dead on with that. Like others, I'd like a different shield, and because I'm always comparing it to the cop bike, I'd like more motor/ But, same can be said for my girls SG.
Buy it, with the '10's coming out, you'll get an even better deal than the already good ones available now. Different is good!
