We are going to be there on July 9 and 10th. Looking forward to Gettysburg, the sites. and Pikes restaurant. best broasted chicken!!!

If you want the best broasted chicken, you need to head to the "Pub on the trail" it is located on the Susquehanna trail. The pikes chicken does not compare.

We were up there a few weekends ago - Battlefield HD - definitely worth the trip.

 

It is about a 40 minute ride from Gettysburg. It is in York County near rt 83

 

OK, check my location. I'm a local, trust me on this. Travel south on 15 to Rte. 97. Go left over Rte. 15, travel on 97 for about 5 miles or so. Look for Hillcrest Diner on the right. Best broasted chicken ever. You'll thank me later.

 

I live in York, you just gave me a new destination to ride too. I will check it out!

I went to try your reccomendation today for the chicken....Damn they were closed for the holiday!!!
