Default WO 518 on 08 RKC

Just installed a set of 518's on my RKC and I'm in love all over again. Install was pretty straight forward. I added 10" to the wires and TBW is plenty long, I cut out the green plug to gain a bit more room in the bars, taped the wire bundles then slid over a nylon expandable sleeve for a bit more protection and it made pulling the wires as easy as could be.

I installed new cables and went 2 over on the brake with 90 banjo at the master and stock length on the clutch cable. To install the clutch cable all I removed was the heat shields and used a long ball allen to remove the trans cover...very easy. Pulling the exhaust like the manual states would be a waste of time.

Just installed the WO515's on my 2009 RKC. Love the height and pullback. Width will take some getting use to but I think they are 100% better than stock.

So my question to any one that has replaced the bars on a new Road King, what bars can I use to accomplish getting them back and still use all the stock cables, etc.? I do have a call in to Wild 1 to see what they say.
The tech's at Wild 1 are good people and they'll really be a big help to you. Give them a call - Ride safe.

Default Chubby 578

Love these bars. Not as tall as my 14" chubby on my RK, but these bars are very comfortable and all the wiring went in with np.

Did you have to extend your wires and cables? I have the same bike, btw they look great on your bike. Trying to decide on the 575 or 578.
