Default Mini Apes Install

I have a 2012 Streetglide. Has anyone installed bars on a newer streetglide before? I just bought some and debating on doing them myself.

Default 12" Chubby Outlawz Apes

I'm planning on these bars for a 2013 FLTRU. Has anyone tried these bars on the RGU? All info says I can install with out any cables or wire extensions. I'm 6'1 with a 35" arm length and 32" inseam. Thanks for any info.

That is what I put on my bike.
You will not need any new cables or wires. You will have to reroute the cables though.

Here are some pics with stock cables and wires...

Has anybody installed the 12 inch bagger bars from Harley Davidson? I'm going to be changing the bars on my Tri Glide in the near future and I haven't found anybody that has put them on any touring bike yet. The 12.5 chubbys are super nice and what I wanted but nobody thinks they will work due to the reverse. Any help would be appreciated!

I just got done this weekend pulling my fairing apart and got my WO578 on. I have to paint the inner fairing now and just put it all back together. I had a friend help me that knows what he has doing but I did most of the work myself. From my first time experience I did and you should just make sure and mark all the wires. This is my 12 SG and if I was by myself I would have just taken a couple pictures. I thought the key fob, getting the radio bolts out, and getting the electronic throttle cables back tight against the right hand copntrols was the hardest. The wires went through the bars very good with wire. Cant wait to start putting it back together

Damn I need new bars too after reading this thread!!! I'm 6'3, 32" inseam, with a long upper body so I need to add some height to my bars. Looking at Carlini Pist 17's, anyone have these?

I had the WO518 RKII bars for years, but this past Spring I went with the Santee 11" Apes.
Loved the feel and hand position, but thought I wanted to go just a tad bit higher... Doh!!
The Wild-One 12.5" Apes are a bit diiferent than the Santee 11" Apes, and it gave me about 2.5" more rise.

I like them, most of the time, but felt more comfortable with the 11" Apes ALL the time.
It's a lot of work to swap out bars, and added cost already ffrom the extended cables I put on.
I think I'll stay with the Wild Ones, but wish I didn't go higher... could've saved a lot of time and money.

I have a '04 FLHT.. What taller bars can I go with that will allow me to keep my stock cables?

Thanks!

Maybe the Santee 11" Bagger Apes, or the Wild-One 10" Bagger Apes.
