All right, I'm a fan of a much straighter wrist angle and a bit of a reach [think '79 FXB bars on 6" risers for 100K plus and loving every minute of it]. Most of the apes have too much angle and pullback for my tastes. The WO610's look like a decent match for this position. Anybody have any experience to pass on? '06 RK, aftermarket fairing, Mustang seat, King Tour Pack. It rides pretty good, but my wrists/shoulders could be a little happier. Thx in advance.

Default WO 509's (16") on my 2012 RKC

WO 509's (16") on my 2012 RKC. Unbelievably comfortable...Much better than the Heritage 'Style' bars that these replaced. I'm 6'3" and these put my hands right at shoulder height.

Love them!

Any thoughts on risers vs not for 16s on a 2013 RK standard. Does it matter or effect handling either way? I imagine it limits the range you can move the bars forward or back if the bar cover is left on vs. risers...?

Great Question, I was looking back and forth for a long time trying to decide which look I liked better. In the end, only Harley Davidson Advertising material made them look good to me, not like to be everyone else, but the bar under the Nacelle clamp, just looked more like that classic Fat RK look I love. As far as mounting under the nacelle cover , there are always things you can do to get it to work the way you want it to, stock riser clamp modification and variartions. Itz ez Love to see more sets of HD Fat bar and riser kits on Kings here, see if anyone else out there can make them look better than HD's marketing machine.

Default 04 Electra Glide w/ 12" Paul Yaffe

These aren't Wild One's, but here's mine with 12" Ape's...

Me: 6'0", 205, 30"inseam (jeans)... Love 'em, and may go up to 14" next time I have it apart.

I ran 20" ers on my Fatboy and loved those too, although it was more for the gangsta' ride than comfort. Longer trips did provide for some challenges with numb hands and such...

I have 518's and with a stock seat it's perfect, with my solo (DG Buttcrack) i'm back about 1-2" too far, not uncomfortable just not a fully neutral riding position. I'm 5'9 with 32in inseam and I believe 34-35 sleeve. Hope that helps. I do love the bar position, and felt the 508's might be to wheelbarrow-ish. Hope that helps.

I have the WO612s. They were the tallest set that would not require new Brake / clutch cables. I find them to be very comfortable except for riding in cold weather. The 12" means my hands are now in the air stream instead being protected by the fairing.
I have done 600 mile days with no handlebar related problems at all.
I know you don't have a RG but I will include some pictures for your veiwing pleasure...
