Default compression,compression releases and elevation

Just a question for all you smart people. So in higher compression motors most people put in compression releases. If you went from sea level to say 4ooo' would you still need the compression releases to start bike.
Thanks

No way anyone can answer that without knowing a lot more specifics. If you are 12 to 1 at sea level and only 11 to 1 at elevation then you will still need them.

I don't know that your compression would change at all anyways. The air has less oxygen per volume than sea level but I don't know that it would change your compression.

I guess thats kinda my ? does compression change as you get higher in elevation. Kinda like you lose power above sea level. Can you have on compression ratio at sea level then another say in like Denver in the same bike
