Oil temperature gauge in place of Air Temp?

I have the mcewen but the scale on the gauge sucks. 100-300. It's up at 270-300 a lot the very end of the scale. . Gauge should be 250-350. Who the hell designed it should be fired. I wouldn't buy it again.

What's the Harley scale on their gauge?

I'd be more concerned that my bike's oil temps were running at 270-300 degrees than the numbers on the gauge. Hopefully your gauge is just poorly calibrated. My bike, with a cooler, runs oil temps in the 200-230 range. To the OP, I sometimes wonder if it was a good idea putting in it on the bike. I look at it way to much and it just seems to make me a little nervous. I bought the HD unit.

Lowers and your bike runs 200-230?? Damn I need your oil cooler- which one do you have?
