Sneakers all the time for 29 years of street riding and still have all my toes. I do however wear steal toes boots for woods riding on the dirt bike which I've been doing for 32 years but started with sneakers and eventually learned. I periodically drop the dirt bike and wear protective gear... it's part of woods riding! I don't plan to drop the Harley and if I do, I suspect I'll be worried about more than my toes.
Boots, Levi's, eye protection, and gloves. Even if I'm going on a 3 min ride to the Corner store. Accidents can happen anytime, anywhere!!!! PS Long sleeved shirt ,also.
