Wear my H-D boots about 90% of the time, fairly comfortable wish the damn zippers would stay closed, will be buying another brand of boots when these wear out......
Learned a VALUABLE lesson TODAY. First time in 30 years I threw on a pair of knee length denim shorts, but still my mandatory crew socks and BOOTS. Lesson is I lightly burned the back of each of my legs above my boots backing my Ultra up. So officially......I'm a Jeans and Boots only rider again.

I have the HD Trooper boots that are lace up, with side zippers. My zippers would slide down, so I wrap around the zipper at the top with some velcro strips and it works well for me. The Velcro stays with the boots all the time.

Yep. This is probably the number one reason that I always wear boots and long jeans on a bike. Those exhaust pipe burns on your calf can take a long time to heal. Especially when you leave some skin on the pipes.
